HTML is made up of “Tags” which allow you to format text and images.

Tags are placed between < > (greater than/less than signs)

Starting Tag

Ending Tag

Most Tags are in groups of two (starting tag & ending tag) with the text to be

modified between them. Tags that don’t modify blocks of text generally do not

have ending tags.
