- Graphics can take a long time to download over a modem! Try to keep images under 5K and don’t put too many on each page - spread them out if you have a lot of images.
Keep background images simple
- Background images get tiled - A huge background image is usually not necessary.
Keep readability in mind.
- Images and colors should enhance your page, not make it harder to read
